BE Basic, Chapter One This Week!

Hi there!

Happy Spring!  The weather has been just beautiful, hasn't it?  I love this time of the year.  As we begin to slide into warmer weather it's a perfect time to cuddle up with a glass of raspberry iced tea, your laptop, and plans to dig deeper into the word of God with an amazing group of women!

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone this week!  Monday @ 8 pm or Wednesday @ 1 pm.

This week we will be discussing BE: Basic, Chapter One. 

Just a quick note about the book...while you do need to purchase a copy to experience the full scope of our BE Basic Bible Study, please don't feel as though you cannot attend a meeting because you haven't received your copy yet.  We want you to join with us!

New Study, BE Basic, Begins THIS Week!

Hello Ladies!  

I am so excited to announce that our next study, BE: Basic, begins THIS week! You are officially invited to join us on either, Monday night at 8 pm or Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm, or both, as we dig deeper into the book of Genesis and learn about where we all began.

The world has become a confusing place. Every day we are confronted with cloudy moral issues that once seemed clear. When did the simple things get so complicated? But instead of wondering how we got here, maybe we should revisit how we got started. And there's no better place to start than the beginning of God's Word, the book of Genesis.

Here are just a few things you need to know:

• Our format is basically this: Read a chapter, then we will discuss it the next week. 
• Example: This week we discuss the Introduction and begin reading Chapter One, which we will discuss next week.
• I've created a Daily Devotional Outline for your convenience.  It has been uploaded to our FB Group Page under the tab labeled FILES.  For our purposes this devotional begins on Monday, and covers 7 days.
• If you would prefer reading the entire Chapter and answering all the questions at once, please do so!  Whichever is easiest for you to do.
• For a complete list of dates & topics, our official BE Basic Study Schedule, you will need to visit the  Authentic Living Ministries Blog

Looking Ahead...

Hello Women of God!

There will be NO GROUP this week.  Enjoy the week off, get rested, and I will see you next week (Monday @ 8 pm or Wednesday @ 1 pm) as we begin our next study.

However, I do have some 'homework' for you!  If you've already gotten your book, Be Basic, please read the Introduction, titled 'The Big Idea' and the 'Word from the Author' before we start next week.

Our next study begins on March 14 & March 17.  That is NEXT WEEK! Please make plans to attend! Here's the info:

The Bible Study Outline that I spoke about in last week's email will be available on Monday, March 14.  You can download it from the Study Schedule Tab on the Authentic Living Ministries Blog.

Please remember, the outline will not contain any information from the book itself, it's simply an easy way to turn a long chapter into smaller, digestible chunks that will function as Daily Devotionals.

I have to say that I am so excited to be continuing this journey of Authenticity with you!  I am looking forward to the coming months and all the blessings God has planned for our Group!
