Be Basic: Week 10 - Chapter 9

It's hard to believe but we are already midway through the month of May!  While time seems to be running away from us, there are more exciting Bible truths to discover in our current study, "Be Basic by Warren Wiersbe.

This week we are studying Chapter 9, "The God of New Beginnings", which covers Genesis 8. Next time you are searching the scriptures for some comfort and assurance, try reading the eighth chapter of Genesis. This chapter details God's 'mop-up' after the flood, and the major theme of this chapter is renewal and rest after tribulation.  Just what an anxious believer needs!

Join us on Monday, May 16 at 8 pm or Wednesday, May 18 at 1 pm as we continue this study.

Be Basic: Chapter Seven

Welcome to the month of May!  

I just love this time of year in Arizona.  The weather is beautiful, not quite hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk, but not too cool either.  The days are often breezy, and we get some lovely rain here and there.

As you know, we've been studying the BE: Basic series by Warren Wiersbe, and let me just say how much I am enjoying the discovery of Genesis, how the earth began and how we fit into God's plan. This week we are studying Chapter Seven, so I hope you're ready to learn "When the Outlook is Bleak, Try the Uplook". (Genesis 4:25-6:8)

We meet on Monday, May 2 at 8 pm or Wednesday, May 4 at 1 pm.
