Welcome to Session 3 of our '50 Days of Transformation' Study! This week we will be studying how to be "Transformed in Our Mental Health". The mind is an important part of our walk with God because whatever goes into our mind determines how we think, and who we are.
Our memory verse this week is found in Romans 12:2..."Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will."
How are you all doing with your daily devotions? I know that God is using them to minister to my own life, and I thought I would share with you a little that God's put on my heart. Recently I just passed my 29th year of salvation and I have to admit, in recent years I've gotten a bit slothful in my daily times with God. I still talked to Him, but not nearly as faithful as I first did. At the beginning of this 'Transformation Study' I made a promise, that before I did anything else in the morning, before I check my phone, turn on the radio or computer, or anything else, I would put God first by meeting daily with Him for a time of study and prayer. At times it's been a bit hard but over the last few weeks I definitely feel closer to God, and my daily time with Him has increased my peace and faith.
Have you noticed any changes in your spiritual life since we began this study? How have you been 'Transformed'? Please consider sharing with us this week at the beginning of our meetings!
Our devotions begin on page 74. Our questions for this week will be chosen from our Discovery Questions on page 70, make sure to answer them all because you never know which 3 will be chosen!
Have a blessed week and I will see you either on Monday, February 1st at 8 PM or Wednesday, February 3rd at 1 PM!
